Privacy Policy
ThreadLite does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and nothing is sent to a server operated by the developer.
How it works
ThreadLite runs entirely inside Safari on your Mac. To lighten long chat pages it reads and modifies the structure of the page you are viewing, locally in your browser. The content of your chats is never copied, stored or transmitted anywhere.
Permissions
ThreadLite asks for access to the chat sites it optimises (chatgpt.com and gemini.google.com) so it can adjust how those pages render. It does not read any other website, does not use your clipboard, and requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo access.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. ThreadLite receives no payment details.
